Harold Leroy Stotler_ of Hagerstown, Maryland passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at his residence in Hagerstown.
He was the beloved husband of Hallie C. Stotler with whom he was married 36 years and was together for 48 years.
Born March 16, 1938, in Keedysville, Maryland, he was the son of the late Charles L Sr. and Anna Mary (Rudisill) Stotler. He was preceded in death by 9 brothers, and 4 sisters. He has one surviving sister, Betty Flook of Sharpsburg Maryland.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, six grandchildren, one great grandchild, as well as one stepdaughter and her husband, one stepson and his wife, and one step granddaughter.
He was employed by Martins Grocery Store for 34 years in the produce department.
Friends and family referred to him by his nickname Sonny. As a young man he often enjoyed being outdoors, hunting with his brothers often, and had a love of horses. He could often be found at the racetrack, especially in his later years.
Sonny was a friendly person who appreciated his life, and his wife. He will be missed.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 28 2025, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Avenue, Hagerstown, Maryland 21742. A burial will follow at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, 17636 West Washington Street, Hagerstown, Maryland 21740.
