Aubrey (Bill) Hutchison, 85, departed life on earth into the presence of his Lord and savior on Monday, October 20, 2025, in Hagerstown, MD.

Born December 14, 1939, in Front Royal, VA, he was the son of the late Joseph Hutchison and Annie Lucy Hutchison Sanders.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 1st wife, Mary; sister, Yvonne; twin brother, Albert; daughter, Karen Baumann; and stepfather, Jim Sanders.

He is survived by his wife, Elaine Hutchison; daughter, Sherry Hutchison; sons, Eric Hutchison and Greg Miller; 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Bill was a member of Hagerstown Bible Church and was very involved until his illness prevented him from serving.

Bill proudly served in the US Army and always said he was “an American soldier before he was a soldier for Christ.” He was a man of many talents with a servant’s heart. He was a flight instructor for 40 years. He was also a master electrician, retiring from IBEW local 307. He worked for Corning in Martinsburg, WV, retiring after 20 years. In his leisure time, he sang with a barbershop group, and he and Elaine liked to travel. He also volunteered his time at Camp Tohiglo doing repair work as needed.

Services will be Friday, October 24, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. with a visitation at 1:00 p.m. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, Hagerstown, MD.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hagerstown Bible Church.
