Harold Watters Obituary
Harold was born January 28, 1930, in Portsmouth, Ohio, the son of the late Jacob Douglas Watters and Opal (Beatty) Watters. On April 20, 1951, he was united in marriage to June Evaline (Foreman) Watters, who preceded him in death February 21, 2019.
He is survived by sons, Harold Dwight Watters and wife Ginny, John Watters and wife Toni, and David Watters and wife Tanya; a daughter, Debra Grooms and husband Jim; seven grandchildren, John-Paul Grooms, Jenniffer Conte, Jessa Watters, Sarah Katie Hood, Molly Watters, Cher Concialdi, and Jean Shaw; eight great-grandchildren, Gunner James Grooms, Kaylee Johnson, Alivia Hood, Lillian Hood, Malcom Shaw, Sophia Concialdi, Gia Concialdi, and Milo McKee; and a brother, Dana Watters and wife Delores.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
Harold was a retired construction worker. He loved mowing his grass and being surrounded by his family.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 7, 2025, at the Boyer Funeral Home in Waverly. Burial will follow in Evergreen Union Cemetery, Denver Road, Waverly.
Friends may call at the Boyer Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service on Monday.
