Mr. Harold West, age 78, passed away on January 8, 2026, in Westmoreland, TN. He was born in Smith County, TN to Fred and Fay West in May 1947 and graduated from Westmoreland High School in 1966. He was an iron worker with Chandler Construction, an US Army Veteran and believed in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Harold is survived by his loving wife of 54 years and 9 months, Pamela West; his children, Kirk West (Lynn Swihart), Jennifer West Sullivan (Randy) and Laura West (Terrence Whidbee); his grandchildren, Allison Badman (James), Zack Hudson (Heather), Colby Sullivan, Nate Sullivan, Morgan Gregory (Hunter), Savannah Gregory (Mason), Emma Martin and Matthew Martin; as well as Nine Great-grandchildren .
He is preceded in death by his parents, Fred West and Fay West; his sister, Gayle Hester; brothers, Tommy and Gary West; and his great-grandson, Cashton Bryant.
The service for Mr. Harold West will be held on Monday, at 1:00 PM at Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Joe West officiating. Interment will follow in Sumner Memorial Gardens, in Gallatin, TN.
Visitation: Sunday, January 11, 2026 at 3:00 to 8:00 PM and Monday, January 12, 2026 at 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM service time at Woodard Funeral Home.
