Harold Wolle, age 96, of Mankato, went to his heavenly home Monday, November 27, 2023.
Memorial service 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 4, 2023, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Mankato. Visitation will be one hour before the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Immanuel Lutheran Church or School. Mankato Mortuary handling arrangements.
Harold Carl was born on January 6, 1927, to Carl and Elnora (Borchardt) Wolle. He was baptized in January 1927 and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church on June 1, 1941. Harold enlisted in the United States Navy on February 4, 1944, served during WWII and was honorably discharged in 1947. On February 18, 1947, Harold was united in marriage to Betty Quast at Trinity Church in Smiths Mill.
Harold was a semi-truck driver, transporting gas and freight most of his life.
Harold’s Christian faith was an essential part of his life and his love of God shone brightly. He was very active at Immanuel Lutheran Church and served on numerous boards. Harold loved his family and enjoyed spending time and making memories with all of them. He and Betty spent many hours attending sporting events of his children and grandchildren.
Survived by his wife, Betty of 76 years; five children, Steve (Jayne) Wolle, Ron (Patti) Wolle, Joan (Larry) Hartman, Karen (Randy) Dalluge, Jane (Mark) Geiger; 13 grandchildren, Mike (Becky) Wolle, Kris (Aaron) Wayne, Bryan (Kelly) Wolle, Jamie (Meghan) Wolle, Andy (Dana) Wolle, Susie (Scott) Osborne, Jon (Susan) Hartman, Joe (Marie) Hartman, Ann (Dan) Howell, Melissa (Troy) Williams, Katie (Matt) Wills, Amanda (Nick) Moe, Adam (Marisa) Geiger; 28 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and their families.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and three sisters.
