Harriet "Ann" Johncox
Adrian - Harriet "Ann" Johncox, age 88, of Adrian, MI, passed away on May 9, 2021 at the Lenawee Medical Care Facility. She was born on January 3, 1933 in Franklin Township, Lenawee County to Leland and Ethel (Renner) Wilson. She was employed by Fulton Industries Inc. in their Quality Control department. She found great joy in reading and sharing those stories with her book club friends and local children as a volunteer reader at the Stair District Library in Morenci, MI. Ann was particularly fond of written works by her favorite author, Gladys Tabor. She also enjoyed time spent quilting, crafting, gardening, and bird watching. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and several book clubs.
Ann is survived by five daughters, Patty (Mike) Horning of Brooklyn, MI, Kathy (Mike) Ziegler of Maumee, OH, Marcia Ries (Mark Jarosemich) of Adrian, MI, Brenda (Tim) Long of Adrian, MI, and Karen (Steven) Strain of Sequatchie, TN; nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; a brother, Bill (Betty) Wilson; and a sister, Vicki (Larry) Taylor. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Sheila and Winona and a brother, Lee.
A Visitation for Ann will take place on Thursday, May 13, 2021 starting at 11:00 a.m. at the Anderson-Marry Funeral Home, Tecumseh, MI. The Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 p.m. followed by a procession to Franklin Township Cemetery, Tipton, MI.
You may send condolences to the family at www.andersonfuneralservices.com. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Stair District Library in Morenci, MI. Envelopes are available at Anderson-Marry Funeral Home, Tecumseh, MI.
