Died: March 13, 2026 in Dixon, IL
Harriet A. Moore age 96 of Dixon passed away on Friday March 13, 2026 at Heritage Square in Dixon. She was born on Dec. 4, 1929 in East Grove Township the daughter of Harry and Laura Mae (Hobbs) Berogan. Harriet worked in Quality Control for Borg Warner for over 30 years prior to her retirement in 1993. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Dixon, and the Dixon Elks Club. Harriet married William G. Moore on Nov. 4, 1950 at the Ohio Methodist Church. He preceded her in death on Feb. 17, 2017. She is also preceded in death by her parents, brothers William Levi Berogan, Melvin Berogan, and Donald Berogan. Harriet is survived by her daughter Kimberly Moore Couza of Macomb, IL and several cousins including Sharon Douglas of Dixon. Cremation rites have been accorded with graveside services to be held on Tuesday March 24, 2026 at 10:00 AM at Oakwood Cemetery in Dixon. Condolences can be left at www.thejonesfh.com.
