Harriet Edna Vaughn 84, passed from this earth into God's hands September 24,2024. She was born to Harold Chute and Beatrice Mitchell in Eastport Maine. She was a loving wife and mother who touched the lives of many. Her unwavering strength, love and loyalty will always be remembered. Her parents, husband of 52 years Howard Red Vaughn, brother Harold Chute Jr, son Howard Vaughn Jr, and two granddaughters Misti and Christina Vaughn preceed her in death. Mom is survived by sister Arlene(Larry) Misuraca, children Connie, La Dawn, and Hubert(Angela) Vaughn, grandchildren Breanah, Adrianna, Mataio, Jonathan, and Abigail Vaughn and Michael Morris, and great-grandchild Ethan Rodriguez. Mom often joked about going to heaven by saying “I’m going to take a trip to Florida.” She always found a way to put a smile on everyone's face. Our family would like to thank the staff of Spohn Shoreline and Angel Bright for the care she was given. Memorial services will be conducted at Sawyer George Funeral Home Saturday October 5th, 2024 @ 11:30am.
