Mrs. Harriett Zediker Corley, 86, of Phenix City, AL passed away Monday, October 6, 2025 at Thrive Senior Living in Columbus, GA.
A funeral service will be held 10:00 am EDT Friday, October 10, 2025 at Vance Brooks Funeral Home in Phenix City, AL with Rev. Brady Baird and Rev. Karen Seifert officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 pm EDT at the funeral home.
Mrs. Corley was born October 13, 1938 in Panama City, FL daughter of the late Thalbert Preston Zediker and Helen Morris Zediker. She spent many years working in the billing department at the Columbus Paper Company. Mrs. Corley was heavily involved in the community, having served in many organizations, such as being a former President of the Columbus Business Women’s Association, a member of the Phenix City Jayceettes and a former President of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She enjoyed crafts, traveling and spending time with family, especially the grandchildren. Mrs. Corley was a member of Summerville United Methodist Church and served as the Chair of the Benevolence Committee for many years.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Philip Preston Corley; a granddaughter, Brandi Corley Duncan; two sisters, Linda Faith Zediker and Marie Zediker Fuller; and a brother, Freddie Zediker, Sr.
Mrs. Corley is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Thomas Bennett Corley, III; a son, Chip Corley and wife Trish; a daughter-in-law, Evelyn Corley; grandchildren, Preston Corley, Ben Corley (Lauren) and Blair Corley; great-grandchildren, Madison Phillips (Lane) and McKenzie Duncan; a great-great-grandchild, Collier Phillips; as well as several extended family and friends.
