Rhonda Bedwell Obituary

Visit the Vance Brooks Funeral Home - Phenix City website to view the full obituary.

Rhonda Bedwell, 68, of Seale, Alabama, was born on March 6, 1958, in Terre Haute, Indiana. She passed away peacefully at home on November 14, 2025, surrounded by love.

Rhonda enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family more than anything. She cherished every moment with her children, grandchildren, and friends—whether cooking, baking, or simply being together. She loved exploring new places across the United States with her husband, their dogs, and often other family members, always on her own schedule and in her own joyful way.

For many years, Rhonda lovingly cared for her husband, and her devotion gave him a longer, fuller life. Her deep love for her dogs, her warmth, and her generous spirit made her a light in the lives of all who knew her. She gave so much of herself, and her presence will be deeply missed.

Rhonda is survived by her father, Willam Booth; her sister, Dawn Drake, and Dawn’s family Alan, Ty, and Aaron; her daughter Micki and Micki’s family Jeff, Alexandra, Miranda, Ethan, Abigail, Kyrie, and Damian; her daughter Serenity and Serenity’s family Angelina, Dylan, Elijah, and Alexus; and her son Michael and his family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Duane Bedwell; mother, Shirley Booth; and her brother, Willam Booth Jr.

Family and friends are invited to a celebration of her life on December 5th at 11:00 a.m. at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery, with a gathering to follow at Rhonda’s home.
