Harriette Ladrow Coppage of Lake Park, Georgia went to be with our Lord on May 15, 2025 after a lengthy illness. Harriette was born on July 26, 1953 to Joe and Mildred Allen Ladrow in Valdosta, GA. She is a graduate of Valdosta High School class of 1971. Upon graduation, Harriette began her work as a telephone operator for Southern Bell Company until their closure in 1984. She was later employed by Griffin Corporation/Dupont and retired in 2015 after 27 years. Harriette was a devoted Christian and an active member of Macedonia Baptist Church, Mayday, Georgia. Besides her love of God, family, plants, cooking, fishing and beach vacations, she was an avid lover of any animal. Some of her most precious were countless dogs, cats, Pepe’ the skunk, Earl the Squirrel, Billy the sheep and a pair of raccoons Bonnie and Clyde. She raised almost every animal at some point except a cow.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 52 years Jeffrey Coppage, Sr., sons Jeffrey Coppage Jr. (Lena) of Statenville, GA, Russell Coppage (Jennifer) of Red Lion, PA, Paul Coppage (Courtney) of Hahira, GA, and one daughter Jodi Coppage Kinsey (Jeremy) of Lake Park, GA. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, Olivia, Beau, Amelia, and Jed Coppage of Statenville, GA, Nicholas and Lincoln Coppage of Red Lion, PA, Walker and Landyn Coppage of Hahira, GA and Lily Grace and Halli Kinsey of Lake Park, GA. Other survivors include her sister Susan Prine of Macon, GA, brother Joe Ladrow of Fernandina Beach, and brothers-in-law Jimmy Kutzli and Bruce Fletcher of Lake Park, GA, brother-in-law Philip Coppage (Sandy) of Sky Valley, GA, sisters-in-law Lisa Coppage of Driftwood, TX, Roselyn Garrett (Greg) of Hahira, GA, Jennifer Pittman (Lee) of New Braunfels, TX, and Carin Coppage of Hahira, GA; numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives.
She is preceded in death by her parents Joe and Mildred Ladrow; father-in-law and mother-in-law Hoyt and Evelyn Coppage, sisters Eva Kutzli and Kay Fletcher, a nephew Joe Kutzli, a niece Alli Prine, and brothers-in-law Joe Prine and DeRon Coppage.
A funeral service will be held at 10am on Monday, May 19, 2025 at Macedonia Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Macedonia Cemetery. The family will visit on Sunday from 4-6pm at the Carson McLane Funeral Home. Online condolences may be shared at www.mclanefuneralservices.com
