Harry Lee Campbell was born on March 25, 1958, in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Roxanne Campbell. He attended Mohawk Middle School, where he enjoyed playing basketball and building friendships.
A hardworking and independent man, Harry proudly operated his own business, Campbell’s Hauling, for over a decade, specializing in construction, demolition, and city cleaning services. He later spent more than ten years contributing his skills to Monsei Trucking Company.
Harry was never married, but his life was rich with connection. He found joy in traveling and sharing laughter with family and friends at large gatherings, where his warmth and easygoing nature were always felt.
On Sunday, June 29, 2025, at the age of 67, Harry transitioned from labor to reward while in the care of Majestic Care of Whitehall.
Harry was preceded in death by his mother, Roxanne Campbell; his brothers, Laverne “Lee” Campbell and Walter Campbell Sr.; and his grandparents, Harry and Lucy Campbell.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his beloved sister, Rosetta Butcher; his children, Deshawn Craine, Irene (Bozman) Meadows, Roxanne Craine, and Clifton Donald; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, co-workers, and dear friends.
Harry’s legacy lives on through the lives he touched and the memories he created with those who loved him.
