Harry Delano Edwards, age 78, resident of Whitmire, husband of Virginia Seymore Edwards, passed away Sunday, December 21, 2025 at Hospice of Laurens County.
Born February 1, 1947 in Kinards, SC, Harry was the son of the late Verdie and Minnie Black Edwards. Harry was a proud Veteran of the US Army and retired from J.P. Stevens Plant in Whitmire. Mr. Edwards was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his wife, Harry is survived by his son, Charles Edwards; his nieces, Paula Nobles, Peggie Price (Tony), Jennifer Metz (Matt), Toni Jenkins (Alan); his nephews, Luke Nobles, Michael Nobles, Brandon Nobles and Kyle Nobles. He was the last surviving among his 16 brothers and sisters.
A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, December 26, 2025 at the Whitmire Cemetery with Rev. Todd Johnson officiating.
