Harry Fredrick Erle Jr., 84, of Bemidji MN died Monday April 21, 2025 at Neilson Place in Bemidji.
Services will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, April 28, 2025 at Cease Family Funeral Home in Bemidji. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service
Harry was born February 2, 1941 in Philadelphia, PA, the son of Helen Plotts and Harry Erle Sr.
He was raised and educated in Philadelphia until he enlisted in the U.S. Army. He served our country from 1960 to 1966, where he met and married his first wife and mother of their 4 children, Helma Cloud. After their divorce, he met and married Marylou Frohman on April 23, 1977 where he welcomed her eight children. Harry worked for the Bemidji High School until his retirement in 2003. He built a home on nearby Gull Lake where he enjoyed building knick knacks, gardening, watching sports, reading his newspaper, fishing and gatherings with loved ones.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Marylou, siblings Helen L Bradley, Barbra Raines, Thomas J Erle, children Russell Erle Sr, Robert Erle, Margaret (Brett) Nordquist, Naomi (Adam) Erle-Thomas. Carol, Karen, Penny, Kim, Amy and Dean. Grandchildren Russell (Jenny) Erle Jr, Brandon (Jess) Erle, Jessica Erle, Christopher Erle, Curtis Smith, Nicole (Nick) Hardies, Tasha Martell, Randdin Erle, Avery Nordquist and Abagail Nordquist, 9 great grandchildren, and the Neilson Place staff.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother John Erle grandson Robert J Erle. Children Doreen and Terri.
