He was my earliest pre-school friend and we had some times together, some of which make me laugh today. Our back yards met, so we were in and out of each other's homes daily in pre-school years. When his father installed a new fence, Harry cut a hole in it for us to pass through, infuriating his father. Later we found the new roof on my dad's garage could be torn off into pieces that sailed beautifully, infuriating my father. In later years, it was camping, taking hikes, etc. And we always spent a lot of time in the fire house. When I think of him, I think of nothing but good times.

I am so very sorry to hear of Harry´s passing. I grew up in Bordentown only a couple blocks from where Harry lived. He was a year younger than me. He was such a sweet and gentle person. He lived one door from the old Hope Hose Fire station so he was drawn to the fireman´s life.
Rest in Peace my friend
