Harry M. Forgash

Harry M. Forgash, 90 of Somerset, NJ, passed away at his home on Tuesday,
December 26th, 2023.
For 56 years, he was the wonderful and beloved husband to Fran
Forgash (nee English) He was the irreplaceable father of Amy Anaya and Jennifer Hnatt. He
became a late-in-life "Baba" and he absolutely treasured his grandchildren, Izzy and C.J. He
attended Weequahic High School in Newark. After three stellar years on the basketball team,
he graduated and joined the Navy where he served four years in many locations in and around
the South China Sea. He finished up his four years serving on the aircraft carrier, US
Bennington. When he was discharged, he attended and subsequently graduated with a degree
in education followed by a Masters degree in Guidance and Leadership from Montclair
University. He spent 38 years as part of the Edison Township School System retiring in 1997.
A Memorial will be held on, Tuesday, January 2nd at the Gleason Funeral Home with a
visitation from 10am-11am followed by a service from 11am-1130am.
