Harry E. Gallagher Ill was born in Kansas City, MO to Colleen and Harry Gallagher, Jr. He passed away on December 14, 2025 following a hard and long year of health struggles.

A graveside service will be 12pm Friday December 19th 2025 at Hubbel Hill Cemetery (Tonganoxie Cemetery).

Harry was born on January 8, 1957 in Kansas City, MO and was the oldest brother of his six siblings. He graduated from St. Regis grade school and O'Hara High School with honors, perfect attendance and a wrestling legacy.

Academic excellence allowed him to attend college courses two years prior to high school graduation and gain scholarship status at the University of Missouri Kansas City. He graduated UMKC in Electrical Engineering and went on to earn his Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering. He worked as an Electrical Engineer until his retirement, from The Boeing Company, in 2001.

Harry married his lifelong support and friend Nancy Smith in 1978. Three children were born to that union, or as Harry would describe them,

"my heart," Tara Belz (Kirk), Joshua Gallagher (Danie) and Jonathan Gallagher (Sasha). He was preceded in death by his Mother Mary Colleen Gallagher, his Father Harry E. Gallagher, Jr. and his Sister Penny Gallagher Mueller.

Survivors include his three children and grandchildren, Izzie Belz, Jack Belz, Harper Gallagher, Kash Gallagher, Kollyns Gallagher, Owen Gallagher and Olivia Gallagher, brothers Patrick Gallagher, Sean Gallagher, Edward "Ted" Gallagher and Benjamin Gallagher; sisters Jeanne Thomas, Peggy Lamb and Maureen Zupon.

Memorial donations in his name are suggested to the City of Tonganoxie for The Gallagher Park Project. Tonganoxie.org
