WILLIAM "BILL" GALLAGHER

William J. "Bill" Gallagher, age 87, of Concord Twp., passed away Feb. 12, 2026 at his home. He was born March 22, 1938 in Cleveland.

Bill was a plumber for Local 55 retiring in 2001. He was a member of AA for 53 years. Bill was a man of faith who loved his family and friends. He enjoyed camping, having traveled across the country with his wife, Joan in their motor home.

Bill is the beloved husband of Joan (nee Schael); dear father of Susan (Paul) Cvelbar, Billy (Mary), Tommy (deceased), Colleen (Scott) Stewart; grandfather of Michael (Hannah) Cvelbar, Robert (Amanda) Cvelbar, Mary Cvelbar (Simon Prpic), Tommy (Brooke) Gallagher, Gabriell Gallagher (Quade Rasmussen), Anna Gallagher, Sara Stewart and Kaitlyn Stewart; great grandfather of Carson, Casey, Dottie, Carlo; brother of John (deceased) (Dorothy), Agnes O'Connell (Ron deceased), Robert (deceased), James (Myrna) (both deceased), Peggy Sweeney (Joe), Kay O'Neill (Kevin deceased), Paul (Diana), Mary Schoen (Tom deceased), Anne Blake (Doug) (both deceased); uncle of many.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday Feb. 21, 2026 at 11 AM at St. Gabriel Church, 9925 Johnnycake Ridge Rd. in Concord Twp. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends at Brickman Bros. Funeral Home, 37433 Euclid Ave. in Willoughby on Friday from 3-7 PM.
