Reverend Harry T. Gann, 82, of Gay, passed away Friday, September 19, 2025, at his home.

Rev. Gann was born June 21, 1943, in Newnan, son of the late Jim Buck Gann and Eva Louise Jordan Gann. A resident of Meriwether County most of his life, he was an ordained minister and had served Farmer Street Tabernacle in Newnan and Miracle Way Baptist Church in Senoia, and was a member of Family Worship Center in Hogansville. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and had also worked as a maintenance technician at Southern Mills, A&G Foods, and Newnan Country Club Golf Course. Rev. Gann loved tinkering, was an avid Atlanta Braves and Georgia Bulldogs fan, and was a talented guitarist.

Survivors include his daughters, Lisa Gann of Gay, Brigitte Huddleston of Newnan, and Mischell and Andy Byers of Sharpsburg; six step-children; grandchildren, Casey Anderson, Joanie Anderson, Brittney Wynn, Lindsey Noles, Jolie Huddleston, Ryan Byers, Ryley Byers, Hudson Byers, Mary Beth Byers, Cai Byers; six great-grandchildren; and his sister, Louise Agan of Hogansville.

The funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 p.m., Monday, September 22, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. Reverend Jonathan Hannah and Reverend James Calhoun will officiate and interment will be in Luthersville Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., Monday, prior to the service.
