Harry "Will" Harris, age 85 of Mantua Twp., passed away on Saturday evening May 24, 2025. Born in Mt. Holly to the late Hanlon Harris and Edna (nee Dunn), he was raised in Marlton. Will was a self-employed landscaper and a dedicated resident of Mantua Township for 44 years. He was an avid Philadelphia Phillies Fan who enjoyed playing all sports - especially with his family. His love for the game was only matched by the loved he showed to those around him. Will also coached softball for the Golden Nugget in West Berlin where he met his loving wife. Most of all he brought laughter and love to all those around him and cherished his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Sharon (nee Lindgren), his children, Harry "Rusty" Harris, Craig Harris & his wife, Susana, Krystal Harris, Drew Harris & his wife, Jennifer, Heather Melson & her husband, William; grandchildren, Melissa Harris, Jamie Batt & her husband, Andy, Jonathan Harris & his wife, Athena, Gabrielle Damanskis & her husband, Mark, Wade Melson, Wesley Melson, and Trey Harris; nine great grandchildren, Kailey, Faith, Hudson, Aiden, Logan, Antonia, Elena, Charlie, and Amelia; his brother, David Harris & his wife, Teresa; and his sister Judith McCrane. Harry was predeceased by his brother, Hanlon Harris & his wife, Margaret; his brother-in-law, James McCrane and his grandson, Matthew.
Relatives and friends may visit from 9:30 am to 11 am on Friday, May 30th at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Mantua where a funeral service will be held at 11 am. Interment will be private. As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the HollyDell Go Program, 51 Charles III Drive, Glassboro, NJ 08028.
