We remember Harry Dennis Hershey SR, whose spirit departed from us on December 2nd, 2024, at the age of 83 in Conway, SC. Harry was originally from Baltimore City, Maryland, however he was raised in Middlebourgh, Maryland. After his marriage he moved to Rosedale Maryland and lived there for 44 years. Harry was a devoted husband for 65 years to his wife, Sharon Hershey. As well as a devoted father, son, brother, friend, uncle, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was a manager at Bosch Warehouse, and a Volunteer Fireman. His father was Milton A Hershey and his Mother was Ida k Hershey. He was the son-in-law to Esther Bosch and Charles Bosch. He had four brothers, Milton L Hershey, Louis J Hershey, Edward Hershey and Ron Hershey. One sister, Jocelyn Hershey. Four sister-in-laws Betty Hershey, Charmaine Hershey, Linda Hershey, Roberta Hershey. He left behind his wife Sharon Hershey. Three children, Harry Dennis Hershey jr, Bryan Hershey, and Denise Vallonga. As well as two in-laws, Robert Vallonga and Tina Hershey. Seven grandchildren, Shannon Megee, Michelle Hershey, Dustin Megee, Stamatia Cook, Alexa Hershey, Christina Hershey, Cole Hershey, and Gavin Vallonga. As well as three added grandchildren Alisha Megee, Rob Cook, and Casey Hershey. Six great grandchildren Ally Mole, Isabella Cook, Carson Cook, Isabella Primeau, Niko Souders, and Cara Hershey. As well as two added great grandchildren, Noah Mole and Taylor James. As well as numerous cousins, nephews, nieces, and extended family. Harry loved everyone he ever met and took them in as they were his own. His smile lit up every room he ever walked into. He was always the heart of the family. He was known for his compassion, kindness, dedication, and humility. His actions touched all who knew him. He loved golfing and hanging out with family. He will be deeply missed by many.
