Harry James Obituary
He had an incredible life. Traveling, champion bowler (at least in the league he played with his wife, my mommom, Dolores), engineer for Belle South, avid crossword puzzler, Fourth Degree Knight with the Clarksville KoC, woodworker, painter, uninhibited hymn-singer. I will always remember when he taught me how to build a box and a kithara, the train museum we visited and how much he loved those tiny engines and the world they inhabited, his plaid shirts, always a plaid shirt, and his strong faith.
He was the eldest of 8, and while he is survivedby his wife, Dolores, nee Hanf, his three children, Dee-Anna Wells, Harry C James IV, Jennifer Moore, and their spouses and children and grandchildren, his sisters and brother, Dorothy Minervini, Anne Dinkler, Lyn Ertle, Eleanor Hetzel, William (Bill) James, their spouses and children. I hope he is now with his parents, Harry C James Jr and Dorothy (nee Gundersen) and brothers, Richard and Thomas, who were called before.
Funeral arrangements are still being worked out, but should take place around March 13, 2026 in Cocoa, FL. I shall post more information as soon as it is available.
Remember to hug your loved ones whenever you can and please keep Poppop's family in mind as you say your prayers.
