Harry David McIntyre Jr., born June 13, 1948, in Syracuse, NY, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2026, at the age of 77.

A devoted and hardworking auto worker, Harry built a proud career at New Process Gear in Syracuse, where he earned the nickname "Got To Have It Harry." His dedication was unmatched, he committed himself to 12-hour shifts, seven days a week, a work ethic that became a defining part of who he was.

Harry was a loving husband and a proud father to his four children-Tony, Toby, Todd, and Robin. Each of them carries forward his strength, determination, and spirit. Among his most cherished memories was the day he married the love of his life, Susan Betty, beginning a journey filled with loyalty, partnership, and deep affection.

Outside of work and family, Harry embraced a life rich with hobbies and passions. He loved playing the drums, filling his home with rhythm and energy. He enjoyed card games, throwing horseshoes, and spending time with those he cared about. Harry had an adventurous heart and a genuine love for travel, always eager to explore new places and create lasting memories.

Harry's resilience, loyalty, and unmatched dedication were evident in every chapter of his life. To those who knew him, he will forever be remembered as the hardest-working man to walk this earth-a man whose legacy of love, perseverance, and commitment will continue to inspire.

Harry was preceded in death by his wife, Susan McIntyre; his father, Harry Sr. McIntyre; his mother, Doris McIntyre; his son, Toby McIntyre; his brother, Jeffrey McIntyre; and his sister, Patricia McIntyre.

Harry is survived by his sons, Tony (Lori), Todd (Rhonda), and his daughter, Robin, his 16 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, his sisters, Debra, Kathy, Linda, Janice, Nancy and his brothers, Donald and Ronald and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be from 2-5 pm Saturday, January 31, at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer Street, Baldwinsville.
