Harry Miles, Jr., 65, passed away unexpectedly on November 19th at Jersey Shore Medical Center. Born on June 7, 1960, in Long Branch, NJ at Monmouth Medical Center, Harry lived a life rooted in hard work, family, and unwavering generosity.
For over forty-five years, Harry was known as an exceptional auto detailer-meticulous, dedicated, and passionate about his craft. His customers often became longtime friends, drawn not only to his skill but to his warm spirit and easy smile.
Harry Jr. was born to the late Harry Miles, Sr. and Willie Mae Miles. He is also predeceased by his brothers Eddie Copeland, Jessie Copeland, and Harry Copeland; and his sisters Linda Copeland, Mattie Copeland, Angie Childs, and Betty King.
He leaves behind cherished memories with his loving sisters Elease Miles and Jen Miles of Neptune, NJ; Brenda Copeland of Asbury Park, NJ; and Ronald King of Patterson, NJ. He is survived by his children: daughters Shannon Davis (Ron) of Neptune, NJ; Kayla Crudup of Neptune, NJ; son Chris DeLoach of Rahway, NJ; and his goddaughter, Kendra Reed of Neptune, NJ. Harry was a proud grandfather to Zarah (also his goddaughter), Elijah, Amira, Daniel, Xavier and Londyn.
He is also survived by his devoted girlfriend, Mary Prieto of Woodbridge, NJ, and his best friend, Sandra Figuero. Close friends who became family-Sharon Davis, Tara Hall, and Tobi Hall-will forever hold him in their hearts. He leaves behind a large and loving circle of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Harry loved cooking, family gatherings, traveling, and sports. He never missed an opportunity to show up for his loved ones and was always willing to lend a hand without expecting anything in return. Known especially for his famous seafood dinners, Harry poured love into everything he did. His generosity, humor, and heart will be deeply missed by all who had the blessing of knowing him.
