Matthew Thomas Miles

Matthew "Matt" Miles of Bradenton, Florida, passed away on November 16, 2025. Born on September 6, 1979, in Maywood, Illinois, Matt lived a life defined by devotion to his family, his work, and the passions that brought him joy.
Matt was a loving husband to Kelly Dacey Miles, and he cherished his children, Makayla, Madalyn, Mason, and Mara, who were the center of his world.
A graduate of the University of Kansas, Matt earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts before building a successful career as a District Asset Protection Manager at CVS Health. He was highly respected for his leadership, dedication, and integrity, leaving a lasting impact on colleagues throughout the company.
Outside of work, Matt embraced life with enthusiasm. He loved boating and fishing, and he found his greatest happiness spending quality time with his family, specifically watching his children participate in their athletic events. A passionate sports fan, he faithfully supported all things Kansas-especially the Kansas City Chiefs and KU Basketball.
In addition to Matt's wife and children, he is survived by his parents, Matthew Miles and Diane Miles; his brother, Thomas Miles; and his sister, Maura Miles (Nick). His family and friends will remember him as a devoted husband, proud father, and loyal friend-someone who could brighten any room with humor, kindness, and unwavering support.
A Memorial Service will be held on November 30, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Christ Episcopal Church in Bradenton, Florida, followed by a gathering at the G.T. Bray Park lacrosse fields in Bradenton. All who knew and loved Matt are invited to attend and celebrate his life.
Matt will be deeply missed and forever remembered for the love he gave, the laughter he shared, and the legacy he leaves behind.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Manatee Wildcats or the Headstrong Foundation, organizations that reflect Matt's commitment to community, youth, and resilience.
