Harry L. Ott, Master Sgt. (Retired), age 90, of Reform, AL died September 23, 2025 at his residence. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Monday, September 29, 2025 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Randal Lynn and Bro. Mark Dean officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Pauline Dean Ott; his parents; three brothers, Charles Ott, Albert Ott and Clayton Ott and sister, Stella Ott Stanford.
Survivors include his wife, June Tollett Ott of Reform; daughters, Laresa Thomas (Howard) of Reform, Susan Watts (Charlie) of Pace, FL and Katie Criswell of Tuscaloosa; son, Allan Ott (Linda) of Ethelsville; eleven grandchildren, Tiffany Skinner (Tim), Tyler Fair, Emily Scarber, Amiee Price, Allison Barksdale (Bubba), Aaron Ott (Kierra), Austin Ott, Blake Watts, Caleb Criswell, Maddy Criswell and Natalie Criswell; eight great-grandchildren, Logan Skinner, Samuel Skinner, Caroline Skinner, Taylor Fair, Hunter Price, Abigail White, Tynley Barksdale and Gentry Barksdale; great-great grandchild, Brody and sister-in-law, Tish Yerby.
Harry was born February 7, 1935 in Caledonia, Mississippi to the late Charlie Ott and Katie Duncan Ott. He was member of Union Chapel Baptist Church and a retired veteran of the United States Air Force with 20 years of service. Harry also retired from General Tire in Columbus, MS after 18 years of service and was a former property manager.
Harry enjoyed fishing and spending time with family. He also loved coon hunting and was a member of the Pickens County Coon Hunting Club. There are many men in Pickens County that followed Harry hunting in the woods.
Pallbearers will be Tyler Fair, Blake Watts, Austin Ott, Aaron Ott, Caleb Criswell and Logan Skinner.
