Thomas Edward Shepherd

Thomas Edward Shepherd, age 77, of Carrollton, AL passed away February 19, 2026 in Aliceville. Funeral services will be 3:00 pm Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Trey Reece officiating and Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be 6 - 8 pm Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Gwendolyn Phillips; granddaughter, Emma Shepherd; his parents and brother, Billy Shepherd.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Peggy Quails Shepherd; two sons, Jerome Shepherd of Reform and Eric Shepherd (Hailey) of Prattville; daughter, Carrie Allison (Dewey) of Prattville; two sisters, Geraldine Britt (Don) of Virginia and Sherry Leal of Carrollton; grandchildren, Jared Shepherd (Hanna), Carson Shepherd (Anna), Alisha Hall, Buddy Phillips, Diesel Shepherd, Elliott Shepherd, Eli Shepherd and Danielle Stockman and great-grandchildren, Kennedy Hall and Jonah Hall.
Thomas was born January 3, 1949 in Gordo, Alabama to the late William Albert "Pap" Shepherd and Dorothy McDaniel Shepherd. He was a member and the Pastor of Browns Chapel Church in Gordo, AL and a retiree of the United States Army. He was loved by everyone that knew him.
