Ronnie Key

Funeral services for Mr. Ronnie Key, age 76, of Delta will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. at Center West Baptist Church, with Bro John Roberts, Bro. David Holcombe and Bro. Mark Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.

Mr. Key passed away on Sunday February 22, 2026 at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton, Georgia. He was a native and lifelong resident of Alabama attended Randolph County High School and worked at Southwire in Carrollton for over 20 years as a Quality Control Inspector. Ronnie enjoyed hunting, fishing, running trot lines back in the day, and "piddlin" on lawn mowers, weed eaters and other small engines.

He is survived by his daughter Amy Vickers of Heflin, grandson; Logan Vickers also of Heflin, his extended family and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Oma Key and Irene Daugherty Key, his wife of 56 years Ellen Ann Craven Key, his sister; Mary Yates, and his brother Jerry Key.

Active pallbearers will be David Phillips, Jerry Cash, Tracy Morrison, Davey Holcombe, Stacy Mitchell, Brian McCormick, and Daniel Smith.

The family will receive friends at Benefield Funeral home in Lineville on Tuesday February 24, 2026 from 5:30 -8:00 P.M. and for one hour prior to services at Center West on Wednesday.
