Harry Setterl Obituary
Harry L. Setterl, 96, of Two Harbors, died Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at Lake View Hospital in Two Harbors.
Harry was born November 22, 1929, to John and Anna (Sollner) Setterl in New York City and grew up in New York and New Jersey. In 1948 he entered the U S Air Force, and while stationed at the Finland, MN Air Force Base met Coral McMains of Two Harbors. He and Coral married in 1952 and after his discharge from the Air Force they moved to New Jersey where Harry worked in the aluminum extrusion business for 42 years. After his retirement in 1994 they moved to Two Harbors.
Harry was a member of the American Legion. He enjoyed bowling for many years, and golf even into his nineties.
Harry was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Coral.
He is survived by his daughter, JoAnn (Robert) Sokolowski; his son, Steve (Vicki) Setterl; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 11 AM until 1 PM on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at Cavallin Funeral Home in Two Harbors, followed by burial with military honors in Lakeview Cemetery. To share a memory or leave an online condolence visit www.cavallinfuneralhome.com.
