Harry Jung Soo Jr., of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, was born and raised in New York City, New York. He lived a full and meaningful life marked by curiosity, service, and a deep love for those around him.
Harry’s life journey reflected his passion for learning and helping others. He worked as a lawyer, a college professor, and a director of a college financial aid office in both New York and Colorado, guiding countless students toward their futures. Later, he continued his service as a USPS manager, overseeing training, security, and asset accountability with integrity and dedication.
Above all, Harry dearly loved his wife, Diane Soo, who was the center of his life and heart. He found joy and freedom riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycles and delighted in watching science fiction films, war histories, and Japanese samurai movies, as well as reading about military history. He was also a big Denver Broncos fan and especially loved meaningful conversations. Harry had a rare gift for connecting with people—friends, neighbors, and strangers alike—through thoughtful dialogue, humor, and a genuine interest in every subject.
Harry is survived by his beloved wife, Diane Soo of Highlands Ranch, Colorado; his sister, Linda Kret; nieces Debbie Hughes and Linda of New York, New York; and his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, and nephews in California and New York.
Harry will be remembered as a loving husband, a devoted family member, and a loyal friend. His spirit, wisdom, and kindness live on in the hearts of the many people whose lives he touched. May he rest in peace and eternal light.
