David Anthony Tesmer

David Anthony Tesmer, age 80, of Centennial, Colorado, passed away on March 8, 2026. He was born on January 26, 1946, in Wheeling, West Virginia, to Virginia Belle Tesmer (Dickinson) and Benjamin Anthony Tesmer.

David graduated from Wellsburg High School and went on to spend more than 30 years working at Weirton Steel, where he built a career through dedication and hard work.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sara Anne Tesmer. He is survived by his daughters, Jennifer Sanin and Michele Tesmer, and by his cherished grandchildren, Gray Sanin and Iliana Sanin.

Following his retirement, David spent much of his time in Lehigh Acres, Florida. During those years, he enjoyed picking up cars and driving them to auctions, something that kept him active and on the road. In 2021, he moved to Colorado to be closer to his daughters.

David was a kind and private man who was always willing to lend a hand whenever someone needed help. He enjoyed simple pleasures in life-dining out, drinking Coke or black coffee, and treating himself to lemon loaf. In his later years, he especially loved admiring the beautiful blue Colorado skies and the mountains that surrounded him.

David will be remembered for his quiet generosity, his steady presence, and the love he had for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
