Harry Swiatek, 85, of Whitehall, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2025 peacefully, in the loving arms of his wife. He was born February 27, 1940, in Tomaszow Mazowiecki, Poland, the son of Jacob and Irma.

Harry graduated high school in Poland and started college there as well. After most of his family immigrated to the United States, Harry left Poland in 1965, to be with his family in New Britain, CT. Soon after arriving, Harry met his future wife in a factory they worked at together. His future wife Jolanta, immigrated to the US as well from Poland to be with her family.

On August 31st, 1968, Harry married Jolanta (Sadowski) and they spent 57 years together. Harry and Jolanta spent about a decade together living in New Britain and eventually had an opportunity to job transfer to the White Lake area. They both fell in love with the White Lake area.

Harry was a graduate of Western Michigan University, with Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, and made a career in Quality Control, for Pratt & Whitney, as well as Eaton Technologies.

Harry was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed sailing, skiing, dancing, reading, bridge, continued education, chocolate, and good Polish food.

Harry is survived by: his wife, Jolanta; sons, Robert and Tom; and grandkids, Andrew, Katelyn, Christian, and Emma; Additionally, his sister, Hilda, who lives in Germany.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Zig (Zigmunt Rajzer).
