Harry Joseph Trainor III

Harry Joseph Trainor III, age 70, of Downers Grove departed on Monday May 5, 2025. Beloved husband of Gail nee Prokop. Loving father of Emily Trainor. Devoted brother of John (Ana) Trainor, Ann (late Dennis) DeMong, James Trainor, Peter (Wendy) Trainor, and Ellen Trainor. Dear uncle and friend to many. Harry was a graduate of James Hart School in Homewood and the Homewood Flossmoor High School in 1972. He was a US Navy Veteran stationed in Japan and Guam. Harry worked for Sybron, ABB Electronics, Combustion Engineering, Stallings Company, Process Sales, Rotronic Instruments, and Thermo Sense in both field service and sales before retiring in 2020. Harry enjoyed golf, woodworking and was a huge Chicago sports fan. He was a member of Four Winds Ski Club and the DuPage Woodworkers Guild. Most of all Harry loved spending time with friends and family.
