Harvey Bell

BELL, Harvey Eli, age 95, of Warsaw, died on Sunday, May 9, 2010. Mr. Bell was a member and Deacon Emeritus of Jerusalem Baptist Church and retired foreman for Contel Telephone Co. Surviving are a daughter, Jane Bell Harcum (William) of Warsaw; three grandchildren, Brandon Lee Harcum, Karen Zongolowicz and William "Billy" Harcum; two great-grandchildren, Jill and Joseph Zongolowicz; and his loving caregivers, Maxine Johnson, Betty Jenkins and Mary Wilkins. Mr. Bell was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine Lee Dawson Bell; his parents, Benjamin Bartholomew Bell and Virginia "Jennie" Self Bell; his sisters, Hilda Marie Bell Smith and Violet Bell; and his brother, Benjamin Bell Jr. The family would like to express their appreciation to Riverside Hospice for helping them through his final days with comfort and dignity. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at Jerusalem Baptist Church, Emmerton, with burial following in Totuskey Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday evening at the Welch Funeral Home, Marks Chapel.
