Harvey Blassingame Obituary
Harvey Blassingame, age 88 of Etowah, Tennessee and formerly of Chatsworth, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2026, at his daughter’s home in Chatsworth.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carole Ellis Blassingame; parents Tony & Billie Blassingame; grandson, Seth Johnson; son-in-law, Jeff Johnson; siblings Geraldine Blassingame, Rosetta (Frank) Winkler, Jimmy (Joyce) Blassingame; nephew Larry Winkler; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Horace and Agnes Ellis
He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Angela and Ray Quinn, Amy and Darin Osborne, Anita and Bill Ziats; grandchildren Hannah Osborne and David Osborne; sister Kathleen Stephens; several nephews, a niece, and cousins.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Harvey Blassingame will be 6:00 pm Thursday, April 2, 2026, in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home in Etowah, Tennessee with Rev. Chris Taylor officiating.
The family will receive friends at Bordwine Funeral Home from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm Thursday, April 2, 2026.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm Friday, April 3, 2026, at Jones Funeral Home of Chatsworth with a graveside service to follow at 2:30 pm in Center Valley Cemetery.
