Harvey Wayne Culpepper
Harvey was a beloved father, son, brother and friend. He was born on December 13, 1956, in Lancaster, California to Charlie Wayne Culpepper and Mary Orozco Trevillion. Harvey graduated from Ruston High School and then went on to retire from Stowe-Woodard after over 30 years of service.
Anyone that knew Harvey knew he had a very strong love for music. He could hear a song on the radio, tell you the name of the song, who wrote it and the year it came out. Harvey most loved playing in the band Backroads where he had many amazing friends in the band. A fellow band member, Danny Ambrose, has already left this earth so we are sure they are jamming in Heaven!
Harvey is preceded in death by his parents, stepfather; Temple State (Bud) Trevillion and his stepmother; Vivian Culpepper.
Harvey is survived by his loving daughter; Alexis Kinman, sisters; Bonnie Ogle (Timbo) and Michele Hayes. He also leaves behind a wide circle of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
We will honor his request to be cremated and everyone remember him as he was. His wish will be carried out.
“I have fought the good fight; I have finished the race. I have kept the Faith” 2 Timothy 4:7
