H. Haskell Dunn, age 83 of Chelsea, AL died December 29th, 2024 from complications of Parkinson's disease. He was born in Milford, Delaware to Ruth and Rolen Dunn but lived most of his life in Alabama. Haskell graduated from Vigor High School in Prichard, AL in 1960. From there he went straight into the Marine Corps. where he spent 4 yrs. After that we went back to our hometown, Mobile, AL. Soon after our move he surrendered his life to Jesus and sensed God's calling on his life. He shortly surrendered to his calling into full time ministry. He felt the need to got to college and further his education to help him be prepared for whatever God called him to do. He chose Mobile College (University of Mobile) and graduated from there in 1984. He went on to serve churches in AL,MS,KY,OH and FL before retiring from church staff. He spent his last years of ministry in Music Evangelism and pastoral care before retiring again. He was a minister for over 45 years. He also worked as a volunteer in prison ministry under the We Care Program in Atmore, AL. He was a minister but always a Marine. A former pastor and friend said "he was one of the Few Good Men that every Pastor needs". He was a man that loved God, his family and country. He loved people and he shared Jesus with everyone he came in contact with.

He is survived by his wife Faye of 63 years, two children Terri(Deborah LaRussa), Mike(Laurie) eight grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.

Terri's pet name for her Dad was "Rock Star" because it seemed everyone new him no matter where he went.
