Haven Elwood Montgomery

Haven Elwood Montgomery, 78, passed away Thursday, August 14, 2025, at his home in Dublin. He was preceded in death by his parents, Grant and Louise Goad Montgomery; and son-in-law, Bobby Jones. He was a well known brick and block mason and enjoyed working on cars. He loved being on his backhoe and pushing snow for all the neighbors, and loved having his picture taken. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Mary Montgomery; daughters, Joanna (Eddie) Assad, Betty Sifford, Trisha Jones, and Charlotte Snider (Darryl Melvin); sister, Shirley Mccoy (Roger Harmon); grandchildren, C. J. Snider (Brittany), Amber Assad, Brandon Sifford, Dylan Jones, and Dustin Assad; 5 great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Graveside services will be private.
