Hazel Josephine "Robinson" Bell, age 94, of Bremen, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on October 6, 1931, Hazel was the daughter of the late George Mirum Robinson, Sr. and Rosa Mae "Howard" Robinson. Hazel was a devoted and hardworking woman throughout her life. She proudly served as a mail carrier with the United States Postal Service from 1967 until 1975. From 1975 to 1980, she worked as the office manager for B&B Realty, where her dedication and organizational skills were well known. She later continued her career as office manager for her brother, Wayne Robinson's Heating & Air company, a position she held from 1980 until her retirement in 1995. In addition to her professional life, Hazel was a faithful and longtime member of First Baptist Church of Bremen, where her faith guided her daily life.
In addition to her parents, Hazel was preceded in death by her beloved husband, T.J. Bell; her daughter, Anita Diane Sakacs; her daughter-in-law, Carol Stanfield Bell; her sons-in-law, Heath Livingston and Kenneth Humphries; and her siblings, Lowell Robinson, Floye Hulsey, George M. Robinson, Jr., Clohie Smith, Jeanette Little, and Bobby Robinson.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Jo Bell Livingston, Alan Bell (Lisa Thomas), and George Bell; son-in-law, Dennis Sakacs; brother, Wayne Robinson; grandchildren, Brett Whiteside (Sophie), Leslie Elrod (Mark), Kristopher Travitz (Kristi), Kari Brooks (Corey), T.J. Bell (Stephanie), and Zac Bell (Logan); 10 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren, all of whom were a constant source of joy in her life.
Visitation for Mrs. Hazel Bell will be held on Sunday, January 11, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Bremen. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, January 12, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Bremen, with Dr. Hunter Roe, Rev. Keith Moore, and Mrs. Jo Bell Livingston officiating.
Serving as pallbearers will be Brett Whiteside, Jonathan Elrod, Kristopher Travitz, Corey Brooks, T.J. Bell, and Zac Bell.
Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
