Hazel Bradley Link Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Harwood Home for Funerals and Cremation Services on Jan. 11, 2026.
Hazel Bernice Bradley Link, 75, of Fairview, went home to be with Jesus on Saturday, January 10, 2026, surrounded by her family at The Elizabeth House.
Hazel was born on October 10, 1950, in Asheville, NC, to the late John Harrison Bradley and Della White Bradley Wyatt. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by an infant son, William; three brothers, Charles Bradley, Robert Bradley, and Steve Bradley; and three sisters, Katherine Taylor, Pat Bradley, and Carolyn Harris.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, Robert Viands and wife Anna; daughter, Tracy Viands; granddaughter, Sierra Jarvis whom she raised as her daughter, and husband Wes; grandson Blake Viands and wife Melody; granddaughter, Ashley Viands; great-granddaughter, Eden; a great-grandchild expected in July 2026; sister, Jackie Metcalf and husband Gerald; and numerous nephews and nieces whom she loved dearly.
For most of her career, Hazel worked in the pharmacy at Phar-Mor and CVS. She was known for her excellent customer service and her friendly, caring demeanor. She touched many lives through her exuberant joy, kindness, and genuine concern.
Hazel's life reflected a deep love, devotion, and gratitude for her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was devoted to studying His Word and living according to His ways. She treasured times of worship with the One who brought redemption and restoration to her life and found great joy, comfort, and power in prayer. Attending church was especially meaningful to her, and her church family held a special place in her heart.
Hazel displayed unwavering love and devotion to her family. Over the past 28 years, she has delighted in making memories with her grandchildren, often through crazy, impromptu adventures that brought laughter and joy to them all. Through it all, she was a voice of truth and grace, continually pointing them to Jesus.
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 16 from 3:45pm to 4:45pm at Biltmore Church of God, 1390 Sweeten Creek Rd, Asheville, NC 28803. A celebration of life service will follow at 5:00pm. The Rev. Dale Whitson will officiate.
