Mrs. Hazel Bowen Daniels

Mrs. Hazel Bowen Daniels, age 84, of Lithia Springs, passed away April 23, 2011. She was born December 19, 1926 in Arabi, GA, a daughter of the late Marion Jasper Bowen and Ellin Savilla Abernathy Bowen. Mrs. Daniels was a member of First United Methodist Church of Atlanta. She and her husband were former owners of a grocery store located in Virginia Highland and was a retired accounting clerk with Sears. She was preceded in death by her husband Woodrow Hamilton Daniels and her son Woodrow Hamilton Daniels, Jr. Surviving are her daughter-in-law Teresa Daniels of Lithia Springs; grandson John McMullan of Lithia Springs; sister Sviller Bowen Hurst of McClenny, Florida and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Funeral service for Mrs. Hazel Daniels will be Thursday, April 28 at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Frank Windom will officiate. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery, Atlanta, GA.
