Hazel L. Dealey

Hazel L. Dealey, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on December 28, 2022 at the age of 90. She was a native of St. Martinville, Louisiana, born on September 23, 1932 and resided in the Summerfield Retirement Community for the past 13 years.
Hazel leaves behind, to cherish her memory, four siblings, Raymond Laviolette (Louise), Erwin Laviolette (Merle), Mary Jane L. Kirkland, and Rita L. Pitre (Armand). She is also survived by a host of extended family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Joseph Laviolette and Geneieve Laviolette; her husband of 27 years, Kenneth W. Dealey; and one brother, Robert Laviolette, Jr. (Jeanette).
Hazel was formerly employed with the BellSouth/AT&T Phone Company before retirement. She enjoyed traveling and doing crafts in her spare time. Hazel will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Hazel's family would like to extend a special thanks to her devoted sitters: Sylvia, Ella, and Debbie.
