Hazel Delaney Obituary
Hazel had worked as a caregiver, sitting with the elderly. She loved camping, fishing, and taking trips to Tennessee.
Hazel is survived by her husband of 43 years, Robert Clifton Delaney; sons, William Bullock of Nicholasville and Justin Clifton (Melissa ) Delaney of Hustonville; daughters: Anita (Tony) Turpin of Moreland, Chrystal (Randy) Cunningham of Hustonville, and Tiffany Dawson of Liberty; son-in-law, Joshua Dawson of Liberty; sister: Annie Rigsby of Mt. Vernon; great nephew who she was raising, Micky Spicer of Hustonville; sister-in-law, Virena Hampton of Somerset; 10 grandchildren: William (Julia) Turpin, Nathaniel Turpin, Randy Wayne Cunningham, Willie (Makayla) Cunningham, Chase Delaney, and Dakota Delaney, all of Hustonville, and Hunter Dawson, Gage Dawson, Remington Dawson, and Skyleigh Dawson, all of Liberty; and 5 great grandchildren: Conway, Cash, Lukas, Cade, and Verity.
Visitation is 5-8 pm Saturday, July 19, 2025, at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be at 2 pm Sunday, July 20, 2025, with visitation after 12:30 pm. Burial will be in Maxey Valley Cemetery. Pallbearers are Hunter Dawson, William Turpin, Willie Cunningham, Nathaniel Turpin, Justin Delaney, William Bullock, and Josh Dawson. Honorary pallbearers are Randy Wayne Cunningham, Gage Dawson, Chase Delaney, Dakota Delaney, and Micky Spicer. A Guestbook is available at www.wlpruitt.com.
