Obituary for Hazel Buell Dominguez
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Hazel Buell Dominguez, a beloved wife, mother,grandmother, sister, and friend, who departed from this world on September 25, 2025, in Tyler, Texas, at the age of 66. Born on December 20, 1958, in Dallas, Texas, Hazel was a beacon of love and laughter to all who knew her.
Hazel pursued her passion for excellence in her career, proudly serving as an employee at Comerica Bank, where she touched the lives of her colleagues and clients alike. A woman of great warmth, she dedicated her life to her family, who will forever cherish her memory.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Jose Dominguez; her daughters, Ana and Breanna Dominguez; her cherished brother, Jeff Buell; and her loving sister, Joyce Buell and Nephew En'rico McLean,and great nephew Marquis McLean. She was also a proud grandmother to Emily, Alexander, and Nicholas, and a great-grandmother to Alyzah all of whom brought her immeasurable joy.
Hazel was passionate about the arts, especially enjoying horror films, and relished every moment spent dining out or with her beloved animals. Her vivacious spirit and love for life will be deeply missed but will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her.
Visitation will be held at Beaty Funeral Home in Winnsboro on October 1, 2025, at 1:00 PM, where family and friends will gather to honor her life and legacy. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM, celebrating the remarkable journey of Hazel Buell Dominguez.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages those who wish to make a contribution to consider local animal shelters, reflecting Hazel's love for animals and her compassionate spirit.
May her memory be a blessing.
