Hazel Jolly Fulkerson

Hazel Jolly Fulkerson, 85, of Owensboro, went to be with her Lord and savior on Sunday October 13, 2024, at the Heartford House while under the care of Hospice and Palliative Care of Western Kentucky, with her dear sister Velva, her brother-in-law, Bill, and niece and nephew, Becky and Jay Jolly, by her side. She was born March 29, 1939, in Owensboro, to the late George William Jolly and Mabel Blanch Davis Jolly. She was a member of Hall Street Baptist Church.

Along with her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Stirman Ray Fulkerson; three brothers, Loyde, Billy, and Gerald Jolly; and a special niece, Carolyn Morris.

Hazel is survived by a sister, Velva Roberts and brother-in-law Bill “Otwell” Roberts; two sisters-in-law, Doris Jolly and Margaret Jolly; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service for Hazel Fulkerson will be at 12 p.m. Thursday, October 17, 2024, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory, where visitation will be from 9 until 12 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery.
