Hazel Elizabeth Guthrie

Hazel Elizabeth Guthrie, age 96 of Eldridge, passed away on March 10, 2025 at her residence. Hazel attended The Carbon Hill Church of God of Prophecy when she was able to and loved to sing. Funeral services will be held at The Carbon Hill Church of God of Prophecy on Friday, March 14, 2025 at 2:00pm. Visitation will be in the church from 1:00pm until service time. Burial will be held in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery (Oakman). Brother John Billy Butler and Brother Ronald Richardson will officiate. There will not be any graveside services.
Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, Huey Guthrie "Jr.", her parents, Claude Price and Effie Price of Carbon Hill; infant children, Ricky and Mickey Guthrie and one grandchild, Tracy Sullivan.
Loved ones left behind are her children: Larry Guthrie (Rickie), Gary Gurthrie (Sarah), Elizabeth Hallman (Wes), and Terrell Guthrie (Teanna). She had a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be: Mark Guthrie, Chris Sullivan, Daniel Gable, Jaxon Guthrie, Donald Guthrie, Wesley Hallman and Ashton Brasher.
