Hazel Langley Obituary
Preceding Maxine in death are her parents, sister Pauline and husband Dean Blevins, brother-in-law Max and wife Charlene Langley, and brother-in-law Kay Langley.
Maxine is survived by son Roger and wife Ketta Langley of Springdale, Arkansas; daughter Carla and husband Richard Shull of Wichita, Kansas; grandchildren Frank Gagne, Jennifer Langley and husband Andy Buck, Matt and wife Carrie Langley, and Joseph and wife Heather Shull; step-grandchildren Taylor and wife Sarah Shull, Stuart and wife Anissa Shull, Angie Boots, Darren and wife Karen Stockton and Scott Stockton; fifteen great grandchildren; nine great great grandchildren, sister-in-law Ima Mae Langley of Hurley, Missouri and many nieces and nephews.
Maxine and Carl Langley were married on May 8, 1949. They celebrated 70 years of marriage at a reception in their home in Berryville, surrounded by family and friends, just prior to Carl's death in August 2019. Maxine was a lifelong St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan, a longtime member of the Mt. Olivet Freewill Baptist Church of Blue Eye and almost a lifelong resident of the greater Blue Eye area. She and Carl shared a love of fishing and life on the water, especially while living in their home on Table Rock Lake.
Special thanks from the family to Angie Boots for her efforts to provide love, comfort, and care to Maxine in her final days.
Visitation will be 5:00 pm till 7:00 pm, Friday, February 25, 2022, at Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel in Berryville. Funeral service will be at 10:00 am, Saturday, February 26, 2022, at Mt. Olivet Freewill Baptist Church in Blue Eye, Missouri. Arrangements are under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service.
