Dannie Langley Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by A Natural State Funeral Service & Crematory on Feb. 6, 2026.
Dannie Lee Langley, age 77, of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away on February 1st, 2026. He was born to Lloyd and Annie Langley on November 16th, 1948, in Arkansas City, Arkansas.

Once Dannie moved to Little Rock, he became a pillar of the community. He was always easy to find, as he often spent every morning chatting with friends over coffee on Highway 10. The community cherished his love to talk, as he would often spend hours chatting with shoppers at the supermarket. He never met a stranger.

He loved spending time with his family. He especially adored his grandchildren and was known to "spoil" them from time to time. He enjoyed fishing with his son and spending time at the local park. He was a simple man who appreciated a life without "all the frills".

He found pride in hard work and service to his community. He served for over 30 years at the West Pulaski Fire Department. He also spent most of his life certified as a master plumber, often helping neighbors for little or no charge in emergencies. His brief enlistment in the United States Air Force was further testament to his willingness to serve others.

He is survived by his sisters Linda Langley, Angela Coleman, and Diane Franks; his son Dannie Langley; his daughter-in-law, Terrie Langley; his grandchildren, Camille Pipkin and Lexia Theel; his great-grandchildren, Rylee Theel and Hudson Pipkin; his nieces, Beverly, Tonja, Kasey, and Heather; and his nephews, Tommie and Gorden. He is also survived by a host of great nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Annie Langley; as well as his brothers, Thomas Langley and Tommy Langley; and his sister, Shirley Stewart.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 12:00 pm at Lawson Apostolic Church in Little Rock.
