James Kelly Beasley, age 66, passed away peacefully Friday, February 13, 2026 in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
Kelly was born on May 2, 1959, in Anniston, Alabama, and grew up in Ashdown, Arkansas. He graduated from the University of Arkansas and spent his career as an insurance agent for Farm Bureau Insurance. Kelly lived in Little Rock, Arkansas, for most of his adult life before moving to Jonesboro four years ago.
Kelly was a car enthusiast; he loved boating, sports, and riding motorcycles. Kelly had an easy laugh and knack for making others smile. He had a great sense of humor and was truly a people person.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggi Beasley, and his nephew, James Martin.
He is survived by his parents, Bill and Ann Beasley of Jonesboro, Arkansas; his sisters, Sharon Martin of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, and Sandy Beasley of Jonesboro, Arkansas; his nieces, Heather Thrash of Asheville, North Carolina, Hannah Martin of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, and Mary Margaret Church of Paragould, Arkansas; and his nephew, Luke Modelevsky of Harrisburg, Arkansas.
There will be a private service held at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery to lay Kelly to rest.
