Hazel Merritt Obituary
Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Merritt; father, Marion Pickren, mother, Birdie Tarrant; sisters, Erma Johnson and Oppie Brooks, and brother, Jack Pickren.
Hazel leaves to cherish her memory, sons, Dennis (Debra), Daniel (Teresa), and Douglas (Lake Ann); 8 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.
We would like to thank Gentiva Hospice, Amanda and Lauren for their loving care.
Funeral Services will be Monday, March 9, 2026, at 11:30 AM at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South. Visitation will be one hour prior at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow in Barrancas National Cemetery, NAS Pensacola, Florida.
